About the Founder

For nearly 7 years Sanja had the privilege of engaging with students from around the globe at a renowned German International School. At the heart of her mission was preparing students with little or no prior knowledge of German to seamlessly integrate into regular German-language classes.

In addition, She was selected to partner with the International School in Paris, where she worked with their students to help them learn German, further deepening her experience with diverse learners.

Why I have founded UpgradeYourGerman

While I’ve always valued my teaching roles, I knew deep down that I couldn’t be content teaching at just one school forever. I felt a strong urge to reach more people, to have a broader impact, and to share my expertise with a wider audience. That’s when I decided to take the leap and create something bigger.

I created this school to support learners who feel overwhelmed by German—whether as a student or a professional adapting to a new environment. I’m here to help you navigate the challenges with patience and understanding, guiding you every step of the way toward confident communication.

I want to break the myth that German is too difficult or boring. German can be indeed enjoyable and accessible when you approach it with the right mindset. My mission is to show that learning German doesn’t have to be just memorizing grammar rules—it’s about connecting with the language in a way that feels meaningful and enjoyable .
